Apply

Complete an application, family interview, and student observation so we can get to know your child and their learning needs.

Acceptance

If PDS is the right fit, your family will receive an acceptance offer and next steps. Applying does not guarantee admission.

Tuition & Fees

Annual Tuition: $12,000

Semester: $6,000

Quarter: $3,000

Monthly: $1,000 for 12 months

Application Fee: None

Annual Supply Fee: $75, due each September

Flexible Payment Options
Families will have multiple payment options available to help make tuition manageable. Additional details regarding payment schedules and available financial assistance will be provided during the admissions process.

Scholarships & Financial Assistance
Qualifying families may also be eligible for scholarship or tuition assistance programs. Eligibility and funding are determined by the individual program and are not guaranteed.

Scholarships & Aid

PDS offers the following scholarship and financial aid options.

LA GATOR Scholarship Program

LA GATOR provides eligible Louisiana students with education funds that may be used toward tuition at participating schools. Families apply directly through the state, and eligibility and award amounts are determined by the program.

$5,243 up to $15,253 annually. LA GATOR award varies by eligibility and annual state funding.

School Choice Program for Certain Students with Exceptionalities

Provides tuition assistance for qualifying Louisiana students with certain exceptionalities. Eligibility is based on state requirements. PDS plans to participate once eligible.

Approximately $2,500 annually

ABA Services & Reduced Tuition

Students with an autism diagnosis who qualify for ABA may receive services through Pelican Pediatric Therapy and may qualify for reduced PDS tuition. ABA services require separate clinical assessment and insurance approval.
